The majority of shift schedules follow a set pattern which is repeated. In this example, the shift pattern (D S N F F) is repeated so we just need to create that portion.
|D||Day shift, from 5 to 13|
|S||Afternoon (swing) shift, from 13 to 21|
|N||Night shift, from 21 to 5|
|-||Night shift, from 21 to 5|
Let us set up the above shift schedule,
Open the Shift Schedule program and if no previous schedule has been created you will be prompted to create one. Read more >>>
Shift Schedule-is shifts calendar with alarm service that allows You to create and to track working shifts in periodic and flexible schedules. The program will help to create working shifts schedule in your Android device for any period of time. Now You can easily keep track of your shifts as well as shifts of your colleagues on any day in the past or the future. In addition, the program can automatically set an alarm only on the days that you choose according to your work schedule.
The application is designed for people working in shifts on periodic or irregular (non-periodic) schedules, as well as for their relatives, friends and acquaintances. Further, even if your work schedule is a standard workweek of 5/2, You can use it to mark your time off, overtime work, holidays and sick days.
The program supports multiple schedule types - regular (cyclic or periodic) and irregular (individual).
Usually people work under cyclic schedule when a given sequence of shifts is repeated after a certain period of time. For example, one of the most common schedules: Day shift, Night shift, After Night shift day (sleep day), Day off and then further so on.
To ensure the ongoing production cycle the work is done in multiple shifts, with using several brigades. The program takes into account this fact, and allows You to create any periodic many-brigades schedule with any sequence of shifts and any number of brigades (teams). Thus, a periodic schedule represents the cyclic repeating pattern of shifts of various types. Sequences of shifts for each brigade (team) are completely similar, but shifted in time.
Working in shift, you can move (transfer) from one brigade to another, have vacation or sick-days, overtime hours etc. For each case the program supports individual (non-periodic) schedules. In such schedule you can change individually each shift.
Thus, I recommend using the following scheme of use:
If your company’s main many-brigades schedule is not strictly periodic, you can create suchlike one too by selecting "non-periodic" as a schedule basis. It also supports any number of brigades, and allows to individually change every shift for each separate team.
Using of an alarm service attached to the schedule appears to be an apparent convenience. Select the schedule and your work brigade in the alarm settings, and the alarm clock will be activated only in the needed shifts. Alarm service can be enabled for both individual as well as periodic schedules. However, individual schedule has the advantage for You to enable / disable the alarm in advance for individual shifts, which may be useful, for example, in the case of days off or vacation.
The program is completely free (paid by advertising displays), if You use only periodic schedules. However, after the trial period, at regular intervals (approximately every three days) dialog will be displayed with a proposal to buy donate, or to include advertising on the main page. If advertising on the home page is displayed at least once in three days, this dialog will not be shown again.
When using non-periodic or individual schedules You need to buy donate-key. In order to determine what option of using You exactly need, the trial period is provided. After the trial period, You can still use the schedules, but when You switch to non-periodic schedules the information dialog with offer to buy donate-key will be displayed.
During the trial period, you can use any types of schedules. After this period expiry, You will still have the chance to use individual schedules, however, a dialog box warning You that You need to buy donate key will be displayed. Do not hurry, take deliberate decision about which types of schedules are needed for you.

In both modes to perform the action, You can use the context menu. Press and hold the box until the context menu appears.

The shift alarm service as part of the program is definitely meant to be an undoubted ease.
You can set the shift alarm clock by noting the schedule and your work brigade. Now You do not have to remember to set the alarm every time before morning shift, as well as You don’t have t worry about turning it off on time. Point the alarm service time for each shift in settings, and the program will do everything for You.
